Captain Hook Costume and Crocodile Marotte Puppet
I designed and Made the costume for Captain Hook and a puppet Crocodile. Because Peter Pan is represented by natural shapes and the colour green, I chose to present Hook with sharp. unnatural shapes and colours. The crocodile was over a meter long and operated with two dowels, one load bearing and one for direction which was held by one actor and they were followed by four more under a ‘cape’, acting as the body. I was given full creative control for these builds and made them almost entirely out of recycled materials.
