Elle Woods’ Opening Quick Change Costume
I was head of costume for a production of Legally Blonde the Musical. I led a team of seven designer/makers and co-ordinated all of the ensemble costumes as well as managing the overall costume budget. I also personally designed and made Elle’s quick change dresses for the opening number, in which she had ten seconds to change from the green dress into the floral pink dress she then would wear for the ‘proposal’. while onstage.
